Have you tried trimming or reshaping your eyebrows by threading method? I just tried it five days ago and until now the unwanted hair didn’t grow yet. The lady who designed my eyebrows said that it’s good up to two weeks. How I wish I know how to do it so that I wont spend a hundred pesos to beautify my ugly face/eyebrows . The threading session took less than ten minutes. It was kinda painful because it was my first time… hhhmm no pain, no gain. Why don’t you try it yourself?Friday, November 21, 2008
Threading Not Plucking

ah always ko mag pa purma sa akong kilay sa diha pa ko lermz... karon wa na ko choice ako na mangibot lols kay mahal ang dollar man aheheh..pero 35 pesos ra man to akoa gasto sauna sa SM man to....

Nice looking eyebrows! I don't pluck either, i shave it and it takes time before it grows back.

I have heard of threading but never really tried it. Sounds like your eyebrow got so much fun out of it :) anyway, dropping by here via EC drop- come say hello sometimes

My daughter had hers threaded for homecoming and loved how it looked. I will just stick with my naturals!I am allergic to pain. And your eyes are gorgeous!

@ Ivy, barato pa sauna ivz, karon agoy mahal na kaau bisag pa blade ang gamit..aron sulit threading nalang. Ugly lang gud ko oi kay gamay man ko totoy, lol!!!

@ Chic Gal, I don't know how to do it but for beauty salon designer so easy for them.. They use a thread in reshaping the eyebrows.

Firstly, you are beautiful! Secondly - I am from England, I have seen this done in one of our shopping centres but not had a go myself. In truth I don't know whether I would be able to trust someone on any beauty treatment especially on my face.
Just out of curiosity - how long did it take? The girl in the shopping centre was sitting in the chair whilst I was walking in one direction and she was still there when I came back again which must have been at least 45 minutes.
Anyway, whoever you went to to have yours shaped has done a really lovely job as they enhance your eyes. :)

I tried threading when i was in Bahrain..as in nakahilak ko sa umpisa..pero in fairness it was worthit naman kasi the result is very clean and very nice..

Polly, it depends on the lady who will do the threading..some cases would take 45mins or so..but mine was done for less than 10minutes.
Twinks, gunitan man nimo ang mata nimo while close ang eyes aron d kaau sakit..sa first ra man daw sakit..kay virgin pa ang kilay hehe
I tried that once in Pinas and it was terrible as in I said to myself not anymore.
Now that I'm here, I'm lucky to meet a beautician friend that really knows how to handle everything well. Threading wasn't painful at all. The technique is ikaw mismo hahawak sa lower part ng brows mo. Relax ka lang. It's more than two weeks ang bisa pag threading siguro dahil masyado manipis ang eyebrows ko haha. Nice one.
They do that here in Egypt--it's an old custom and not just the eyebrows but the whole face. The first time I had it done it felt like someone was ripping the skin off my face. It's amazing that you cant see the hair you truly have on your face--it's everywhere! I have to say though it made me look at least 10 years younger. I intend to start doing it regularly. I dont know what it is about threading but it sure rejuvenates one's appearance!
